Where I AM

Want to know where I AM?

Not in your temples, churches
or governments, but all the outcasts
throughout the land.

I AM the stranger
who asked you for
a helping hand.

I AM the innocent child
that’s killed and abused
from blood-drenched hands.

I AM the rocks beneath
your feet and the trees
that help you breathe.

I AM every creature
whether in the sea, air,
or on land.

I AM all things and
as numerous and unique
as every snowflake and
grain of sand.

You have to have a pure heart to
understand who, what, and where I AM.
